As I mentioned in a different thread, I saw Hein at last ICRA in Shanghai. I think that George K said he's thinking of submitting to ICRA 2012 (in the MN Twin Cities). What about George C?

I know ICRA is going to be uncharacteristically competitive this year, since IROS rejected a whole bunch of papers.... but it would be really cool if there were a bunch of us in one place. :-)

I am hoping to submit with a student, but he'll be first author so that means I probably won't attend myself. :( There might be a few other people submitting though - Benji?

Nah, I'm afraid I didn't. I'll aim for RSS in January though.

One thing that I did see was a whole bunch of robot related AAMAS papers this year. Did lots of people from Europe submit? I know there was a big push by Marie Gini to get more robot papers. To me that always feels just like more robot reviewing. :-)

Actually there were 4 submissions to AAMAS from my group this year. So it seems like that push is working :)

Hmmm. I've never been to an AAMAS. The website lists 90 robotics submissions, even at an accept rate of a third (which I think is about right for AAMAS) that's a lot of robot papers.
